Robert Teeling
Robert Teeling was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1964.
His passion for art and specifically wildlife art, started at a very young age.
Robert is a self-taught artist and his works grace the walls of many homes and galleries in
South Africa , Ireland and around the world. His versatility enables him to paint most subjects,(seascapes, portraits, landscapes, murals), and this is self-evident in the quality of work he produces in all mediums.
Robert recently had 2 paintings reach the finals of the BBC International Wildlife Artist of the Year 2013. He was also selected as a finalist and for exhibition for the David Shepherd International Wildlife Competition 2015.
Robert moved to Ireland in 2010 and resides in Wicklow with his wife and son.
As well as continuing with his wildlife art, Robert has found inspiration in the people and places of Ireland.
